This year marks the 10th anniversary of Kentucky Route Zero.

I played the first episode when it was released, and have played the whole game several times over the years. Every time a new chapter was out, I used to rewind and play all previous ones before jumping into it. 

In a way, I never stop playing Kentucky Route Zero. It dwells in my mind like only a few pieces of art have done before. Whenever I feel Conway's fear of obsolescence, Ezra's uprooting, Shannon's longing to be helpful and belong somewhere (or to someone). Or when I feel overwhelmed by the embrace of the cosmos behind Junebug's songs.

We are here just doing our best, trying to save what we can. Pouring our souls into what we feel is important. Even if it's just playing tapes in a forgotten church, and offering a smile to the ghosts.
